Cariboo Clean Fuels: A Cariboo Low Carbon Fuels and Elemental Clean Fuels

The CLCF team has led the development and execution of billions of dollars in capital and commercial projects in the Utility Power Product, Petrochemical, Natural Gas Transport and other industries for organizations that include TransAlta, TC Energy, Nova Chemicals Corp., Alliance Pipeline, Niska Gas Storage and others.

The ECF team has developed 500MW of renewables throughout North America and $3B+ in Western Canadian energy projects. The team has also developed first of its kind green h2 production and refueling infrastructure in Europe throughout their careers. ECF brings to the partnership significant development, financial, and project delivery experience throughout North America.

Cariboo Clean Fuels is a strategic partnership between both CLCF and ECF bringing a collective 200+ years of experience, 475MW in developed renewables, and more than $4B in developed projects in Western Canada.

Zachary Steele

Chairman

Zach is currently CEO of Elemental Clean Fuels. Previously, he has served as Co-Head of Fusion Fuel (Nasdaq: HTOO) and Co-President of Fusion Fuel USA which is a hydrogen electrolysis technology company based in Portugal. Prior to Fusion Fuel, Zach served as CEO and Vice-Chairman of Cedar LNG. Prior to that he founded and was CEO of Pacific Traverse Energy. He began his career developing renewable energy projects as founder of Enova Energy Group in 2009.

Bob Blattler

Director/CEO

Bob has 40 years’ experience in the petrochemical and natural gas transmission sectors in commercial, project management and operations roles. Has led marketing activities; transporter business relations, commercial services and infrastructure development. Fostered enterprise focus while ensuring adherence to Corporate Policies. Led the building of customer relations in markets of influence, driving tactics for success and marketing of new products.

Jason Baran

Director

Jason is currently CFO of Elemental Clean Fuels. Prior to ECF, he has held senior roles in the energy infrastructure sector, including Chief Commercial Officer at Fusion Fuel (Nasdaq: HTOO) and Co-President of Fusion Fuel USA, CFO and Board Member of Cedar LNG, and Senior Vice President at Beowulf Energy.

Darin Olson

Director/CFO

Darin has more than 25 years of experience in the midstream energy and technology sectors, specializing in the growth and mergers & acquisitions. Darin has served as the CFO of several companies, including PureWeb Inc, Terado Gas Storage (recently acquired by Altagas, TSE: ALA), and Niska Gas Storage (NYSE: NKA), acquired by Brookfield’s Infrastructure fund.

Jeff Crone

Advisor

Jeff is Chief Development Officer for Elemental Clean Fuels. Previously, he served as Vice President of Engineering and Construction Services at Buckeye Partners where he oversaw all corporate engineering and project management functions for the organization. He brings over 25 years of global energy industry experience in the fields of engineering, operations and project management, working in leadership roles for companies including Kinder Morgan, Shell and Hess.

Kirk Morrison

COO

Kirk is a professional engineer with nearly 40 years’ experience in the global energy & resource sector and has led businesses employing in excess of 2500 individuals with annual revenues in excess of $500M CDN. Kirk and his teams have been responsible for the permitting, design and construction of renewable energy projects generating in excess of 6000 MW in 6 different continents.

Lisa Doig

CCO

Lisa is a professional engineer with more than 30 years’ experience within the chemical, electricity and oil and gas sectors in Canada and the UK. Lisa has led the development of clean technologies and complex commercial projects including carbon capture and storage and hydrogen.
